About

Fitness has been a constant presence in my life, providing both a source of strength and a way to navigate through challenging times. At 17, I won the Fittest Soldier title at ATS Winchester, but a period of inactivity followed. Over the next decade, I spent time coaching clients and honing my skills, until, I ran a marathon for Help for Heroes. This experience ignited a passion for running, and thanks to friends, I discovered the supportive and vibrant parkrun community.

Since then, my running journey has been one of continuous growth and achievement. I've earned numerous county, district, and national titles across various distances on road, track, grass, and trail. Within those I earned back to back national titles, one for 10km followed by Scottish half marathon gold. I’m especially proud to serve as an ambassador for Athletics Trust Scotland, where I had the privilege of hosting our inaugural race in 2024, organized in partnership with Inverclyde Athletics. In recognition of my achievements, I was honoured to receive the Inverclyde Sports Personality of the Year award in 2024.

My story is a testament to resilience, personal transformation, and the power of community. Through the ups and downs, sport has been my anchor, helping me not only rediscover my own potential but also giving me the opportunity to inspire others to push their limits and pursue their passions.
